What was the KXL Resistance March?
On July 26th, marchers from the four directions of South Dakota converged upon the state’s capitol, Pierre, to demonstrate their continued resistance to the Keystone XL Pipeline. Over 400 riders, marchers, and Pipeline Fighters crossed the Missouri River to protest the pipeline.

On July 27th thru Aug 4th, the SD Public Utilities Commission is holding a final hearing to decide the fate of TranCanada’s KXL state permit! If you haven’t written in to the PUC, click here now!

Event Agenda on Sunday, July 26th

11am cst: Opening Remarks and Prayer.  Press and Public are invited to quietly and respectfully observe.

12:00pm : KXL Resistance Ride/March (1.2 miles from Hwy 14/83 Intersection to the Steamboat Park)

1:30pm: Water Blessing (Steamboat Park). 

2:00-4:00pm: Rally (Steamboat Park)

-Parking in Ft Pierre (West river) on Hustan Ave or Yellowstone Ave – You will have to walk back to your vehicle after the rally.
-Parking in Pierre (East River) in the surrounding parking lots, or on Dakota Ave or W. Missouri Ave.
